Plympton Couple To Star In HGTV Show Airing This Week

PLYMPTON, MA — A Plympton couple is starring in a brand new HGTV series premiering this week called Houses With History.

The series will follow Jenny Macdonald and Mike Lemieux as they renovate historic homes - some up to 300 years old - across the South Shore.

Houses With History will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on HGTV and Discovery Plus.

Basing the show in Plymouth, the couple will work with carpenter Rich Soares to refurbish old homes while saving a piece of history.

The series started filming during the pandemic, creating even more obstacles for the team to tackle.

Macdonald and Lemieux are owners of Full Circle Homes, specializing in home remodeling for clients while offering expertise for antique home renovations.

According to their website, the couple has remodeled over a dozen homes near the Plymouth area, without hindering their unique charm.

As of right now, the series has six episodes full of passionate preservations and a healthy amount of Plymouth's history.
