Police Find Loaded Gun Found In Diaper Bag

Boston police officers said two people were packing heat, right next to the diapers.

ROXBURY, MA — Police arrested two after finding a loaded handgun in a diaper bag, alongside infant clothing and diapers.

Teshawn Hector-Coleman, 21, of Boston, and Tashya Love, 22, of Mattapan, were arrested just before noon Tuesday on firearm-related charges after a traffic stop in Roxbury. Officers said they found a loaded Glock 19 with 17 rounds of ammunition in the bag. The gun was reported stolen out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Coleman will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm second (subsequent offense,) unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm on a public way, possession of a high capacity feeding device, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and receiving stolen property.
