Police Arrest Driver Who Struck Child In Hyde Park & Took Off
Police say they have found the hit-and-run driver who injured a child in Hyde Park Friday morning.

HYDE PARK, MA —Police have arrested the driver who they say hit and struck a child in Hyde Park Friday morning.
This is the second hit-and-run incident in Boston involving a child in the last week.
Emergency crews say they responded to Williams Avenue in Hyde Park around 8:15 a.m. Friday morning to find a child suffering from non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.

Boston police say the driver, Tyrese Hamilton, 30, of Hartford Connecticut then reportedly took off, fleeing from the scene.
Police say Hamilton will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.

This incident comes just days after an 11-year-old was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Dorchester before the driver took off from the scene.
The 11-year-old, later identified by police as Francis Nedwell, is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital.
Police say they are still searching for that driver.
