DORCHESTER, MA — MBTA transit police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was caught on camera throwing metal objects onto train tracks at Andrew Station.

Police say the metal object was thrown into the third rail around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, creating an unsafe area for incoming trains.

MBTA officials say they had to cut power to the station to remove the metal hazard and service delays followed.
