Police Searching For Suspect After Woman Pushed Onto Train Tracks At North Station: Report

The victim was taken to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

BOSTON, MA — A 61-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being pushed down onto the train tracks at the MBTA's North Station on Thursday afternoon, according to a report from 7 News Boston.

Police are searching for a suspect who is believed to have fled the scene right after the incident took place. He has been described as a homeless man who is known to loiter in the area of North Station often.

Trains out of North Station were briefly delayed after the incident took place.
