Reports: Boston Police Warn of Possible Threats

A reported memo warns of threats to police posted on social media. It's unknown whether the threats are credible.

The Boston Police Department is warning officers to remain safe in light of alleged threats posted to social media, multiple outlets report.

According to WHDH 7News, the internal memo sent Friday follows targeted police killings in Dallas and warns Boston Police officers to "use caution when coming to and from district stations" and while in the city. They are warned to be cautious while on and off duty, FOX 25 reports.

The memo reportedly cites social media posts with "calls to target police officers for violence." Boston Police say it's unknown whether threats are credible, WHDH reports.
