BOSTON, MA — General Electric unveiled designs for its soon-to-be global headquarters in Fort Point Monday.
The 2.4-acre campus would open in two phases in 2018 and ultimately house about 800 GE employees, as well as entrepreneurs and others, according to a company press release.
GE would rehabilitate two historic brick buildings and construct a new 12-story building connected by a bridge and a pedestrian-only walkway, the release said. Gensler is the project architect.
