Stacy Padula and Brett Gunning Release Book Four in their Series
South Shore Author Stacy Padula and Former NBA Coach Brett Gunning Release Book Four in their Children's Series "On the Right Path"

South Shore Author Stacy Padula and former NBA Coach Brett Gunning will release the fourth children’s book in their series based on the principles of Gunning’s non-profit “On the Right Path.” Padula and Gunning’s series is published through Briley & Baxter Publications based in Plymouth, MA. The books are illustrated by Maddy Moore.
A book signing and release party will be held on August 6th from 2-4 pm at Book Love in the Pinehills at The Mayflower Beer Garden. The event is open to the public. All fourteen of Padula’s books will be available for purchase. Ten percent of all publishing proceeds will be donated to Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. Book buyers will receive a raffle ticket for every book they purchase. Prizes include a pair of Bruins tickets (3rd row balcony), a gift bag of books from Briley & Baxter Publications, and other Briley & Baxter themed gifts. The Mayflower Beer Garden will have pop-up shops, live music, and a food truck.
On The Right Path (OTRP) is a non-profit organization created by Gunning to guide youth basketball players on the right path to achieving their maximum potential through education, mentorship, and skill development. The book series focuses on six life-skill pillars: Loving Others, Being Unselfish, Staying Healthy & Strong, Showing Forgiveness, Showing Respect, and Having Fun. The series has been endorsed by Hall-of-famer Kevin McHale, Mike D’Antoni, and Joel Osteen.

OTRP also provides parents and coaches with tools and resources to effectively keep their child or player on the right path. The core principles are guidance, inspiration and creativity and offer 12 basketball skill pillars and 12 life skill pillars. Gunning’s inspiration comes from his 26 years of coaching in college and the NBA.

Our fourth book teaches children the importance of forgiving others.”
