Thunder-snow in Boston: Who Heard It?
Our reporter in Beacon Hill is convinced it was thunder-hail, actually. Did you hear the rumbles or see lighting last night?
"Thunder-snow" was reported last night across northeast Massachusetts, including here in Boston.
Our reporter on the ground in Beacon Hill is convinced it was more like thunder-hail, or thunder-that-weird-place-between-snow-and-rain. Minutes before the rumbles began, tiny pellets of ice were blanketing the bricks in Beacon Hill.
Additional reports of thundersnow came in from Cambridge, Medford, Watertown, Woburn and more.
