Trump Revives Warren's 'Pocahontas' Nickname In Twitter Attack
President Trump said Warren's campaign is "dead" and said she is "very angry at Bernie" in a busy morning on Twitter.

President Trump revived the "Pocahontas" nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren in a Twitter attack on Democratic candidates during what has been a busy morning on his timeline.
Trump said Monday that supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders "are trashing Elizabeth 'Pocahontus' Warren," in an apparent nod to a weekend Politico story which reported the Sanders campaign told volunteers to paint Warren as someone who only appeals to the Democratic elite and can't bring in new voters. He misspelled "Pocahontas" in the tweet.
"Everybody knows her campaign is dead and want her potential voters," Trump continued.

Bernie Sander’s volunteers are trashing Elizabeth “Pocahontus” Warren. Everybody knows her campaign is dead and want her potential voters. Mini Mike B is also trying, but getting tiny crowds which are all leaving fast. Elizabeth is very angry at Bernie. Do I see a feud brewing?

Trump hasn't tweeted what many consider his racist nickname for Warren since September, according to the Trump Twitter Archive.
Trump said at a campaign rally in New Hampshire last summer he was excited to bring back her nickname for the 2020 election. Trump, who made the comments while Warren was rising in the Democratic polls, said the nickname "can be revived very easily and very quickly and we're going to have some fun."

He first tweeted the nickname out in May 2016, calling Warren a "lowlife."
@elizabethforma Goofy Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to as Pocahontas because she faked the fact she is native American, is a lowlife!

Lately Warren has suffered through a dip in the polls, overtaken by Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden. Warren still holds strong as one of the four top-tier candidates in the primary, along with Pete Buttigieg.
