Unique Bar Opening Its Doors On Beacon Hill
The bar is described as "Gatsby-style."
BOSTON, MA — A new The Great Gatsby-inspired cocktail bar is launching in Beacon Hill this weekend.
89 Charles is officially opening on Saturday, Sept. 20 on Charles Street. The space includes a 12-seat bar and 30-seat lounge offering cocktails, wines, and spirits. Manager Dave Irwin developed the bar’s concept. Irwin was previously at Zurito, also in Beacon Hill, with time spent at other establishments such as Row 34 and Porto.
“Our goal was to build an intimate bar, with a heavy emphasis on the art of cocktail making, that feels like it’s been a fabric of the neighborhood forever,” Owner Gennaro Riccio said.
