Police Commissioner William Evans, along with Mayor Marty Walsh, has been visiting the officers and their families on and off since the shooting. He shared the following statement late last week:

"I want to thank everyone for their continued prayers - I hope St. Michael (patron saint of police) continues to look down upon my officers. The outstanding staff at MGH continue to help our officers during this difficult time. I can't thank them enough."
