VNA Care to honor Dr. Jon Bloom, Dr. Yvonne Greenstreet and Dr. Camille Preston at Heroes in Health Care
Benefit raises essential funds for visiting nurses' home health and hospice care in Massachusetts

VNA Care, Massachusetts’ largest independent nonprofit home- and community-based health care organization, will hold its 20th Anniversary Heroes in Health Care Gala, on Oct. 18 at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston.
This year’s Heroes Award recipients are Jon Bloom, MD, Yvonne Greenstreet, MD, and Camille Preston, PhD.
Jon Bloom, MD, is Co-Founder and CEO of Podimetrics, a company focused on preventing diabetes-related amputations in vulnerable populations. A board-certified physician and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, he is being recognized for dedicating his life to improving the lives of people with diabetes across the globe.

Yvonne Greenstreet, MD, MBA, CEO of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, is being honored for her leadership in Alnylam’s pursuit of innovative therapies to address unmet medical needs. Greenstreet and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals are heralded for delivering transformative medicines in both rare and common diseases benefiting patients around the world.
Camille Preston, PhD, is being recognized for her impact as founder and CEO of AIM Leadership and as a bestselling author. Preston’s most recent book, Living Real, emerged from her own season of loss and discovery. It follows her earlier works: Rewired (2011) and Create More Flow (2017).

The black-tie event, hosted by Latoyia Edwards, NBC 10 Boston and NECN Anchor, will be a celebratory evening of cocktails, followed by an elegant dinner, and an after-party with dancing and dessert stations. All proceeds benefit VNA Care’s vital home health care services and end-of-life care.
