WATCH: Boston Company Releases Dishes-Doing Robodog

Boston, MA — Tech writers call it "freakishly agile," "the ultimate household butler" and "the nightmare pet you never asked for."

It's the newest, smallest robotic release from Boston Dynamics, "SpotMini."

SpotMini appears to be some amalgam of dog, giraffe and butler. It weighs in at 55 pounds (plus another 10 for its arm), according to the Boston engineering and robotics company behind it. SpotMini performs some tasks autonomously but often uses a human for high-level guidance, the company said. More info from Boston Dynamics here.
