'We Must Begin Impeachment Proceedings—Now:' MA Politicians Ready
Many Massachusetts senators and representatives sounded off in support of impeaching President Trump after Nancy Pelosi's announcement.

The House will begin a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday. Senate and House Democrats, including several in Massachusetts, flooded social media in support of impeaching Trump after Pelosi's announcement.
Both senators and the majority of House representatives in Massachusetts have unabashedly called for impeachment for months. Only one congressmen — Richard Neal — has not outright called for Trump's impeachment.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren
I called for impeachment five months ago, the day after the Mueller report came out. Trump continues to commit crimes because he believes he’s above the law. If Congress does nothing to respond, he’ll be right. We must begin impeachment proceedings—now. https://t.co/aHbX63coJC

Sen. Ed Markey
Enlisting a foreign power for his own political gain, President Trump continues to tear at the fabric of our democracy every day. #ImpeachTrump https://t.co/zNITp7ozhb

Richard Neal
Neal has not come out in support of impeachment, and he's taking a beating for it by his opponent. Alex Morse, the 30-year-old Holyoke mayor challenging Neal in the 1st congressional district, came out Tuesday railing against Neal's refusal to support impeaching what Morse called "the most corrupt president in history." Neal, the chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, has also been criticized by some for acting too slowly in moving to get Trump's tax returns.

Jim McGovern
The president asked a foreign power to make up political dirt on a potential opponent. He abuses the power of his office, threatens our national security & undermines our constitution which he swore to uphold. As I have said before, he is unfit for office & should be impeached.

Joe Kennedy III
Impeaching this President isn’t only about holding him accountable for his rampant corruption & continued obstruction, it’s about drawing a clear line for all who will follow him. House should not shy from our constitutional responsibility.

Lori Trahan
It took the Robert Mueller's testimony to do it, but Trahan finally came out insupport of impeaching Trump this summer.

I believe President Trump’s recent actions & statements imploring a foreign government to help take down a political opponent in the U.S. Presidential election satisfies the high crimes & misdemeanors standards in Sec 4, Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution. https://t.co/JElDsfUD9a
