Weekend MBTA Commuter Boat Service Resumes Saturday
Weekend service runs between Hingham, Hull, Georges Island, Grape Island and Boston.

Boston, MA - The Mass. Dept. of Transportation's weekend commuter boat service returns for the third year Saturday.
The aquatic service runs between Hingham, Hull, Georges Island, Grape Island and Boston. It starts Memorial Day weekend and ends after Labor Day weekend.
Saturday and Sunday, the commuter boat service operates 14 round-trips from Hingham to Boston's Long Wharf. Several boats make stops at Hull, Georges Island, Grape Island and Logan Airport.

Boats depart on the hour from Hingham and Boston, starting 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively. Two additional round trips will operate Saturday night, with the last boat leaving Boston at 11:15 p.m., and arriving midnight in Hingham.
One-way fare between Hingham or Hull and Long Wharf is $8.50. The Logan service fare is $17, ($8.50 for those with a valid monthly Commuter Boat pass).
