BOSTON, MA — A Boston woman stabbed a man in the heart and killed him during an altercation in November, according to police.

Boston police went to a Northampton Street home in the South End just before 10 p.m. on Nov. 29. They found Robert Lee Scott, 55, at the scene and experiencing cardiac arrest. Scott died after he was taken to a nearby hospital.

But it wasn't until last Friday that a state Medical Examiner ruled Scott died by homicide due to "sharp force injury to the heart."
