BOSTON, MA — A woman was struck by a Massachusetts State Police trooper in East Boston early Saturday morning, according to a report in Masslive.com.

The 58-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by the trooper driving through the intersection of Bennington and Vienna Streets, the news report said.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to the report, the trooper was taken to the hospital for emotional distress.
