Police Investigating East Boston Woman's Death as Homicide

Here's what we know so far.

Boston, MA - Boston Police are now investigating the supsicious death of a young woman in East Boston as a homicide, police said late Wednesday.

The woman, believed to be in her early twenties, was discovered in a a Princeton Street garage early Wednesday morning.

Boston Police said they were called to the garage behind 54 Princeton St., in East Boston, around 8:51 a.m.

Officers found a woman in her early twenties inside suffering from "undetermined traumatic injuries." The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a press update Wednesday.

Police have not released the cause of death, but are investigating it as a homicide.

"We're looking for some help on this one - to see if anyone was seen in this area who didn't fit in this area," Police Supt. Bernie O'Rourke told reporters on the scene.
