BOSTON — Looking for a spot to watch the defending champion U.S. national soccer team take on Spain at the Women’s World Cup during lunch Monday? The city has you covered for that one.
The city is holding a free watch party at City Hall Plaza, Monday for round 16 of the FIFA Women's World Cup. The U.S. advanced to the round on Thursday after defeating Sweden 2-0.
The game begins at noon on the plaza but leave the backpacks purses bags, coolers and, um, weapons, at the office - or home.
