Young Girl Killed In Dorchester Triple Shooting

Boston police are launching an investigation after a girl under the age of 18 was fatally shot on Washington Street in Dorchester.

DORCHESTER, MA — An investigation is underway after a triple shooting in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood Sunday left a young girl dead.

Boston police responded to a report of shots fired near 551 Washington Street at 6:25 p.m., to find two men and a young woman under the age of 18 suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police say the young girl was immediately sent to a local hospital, where she did not survive her injuries.

The two men were also sent to the hospital with what police are calling non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are working to investigate the deadly shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
