BRAINTREE, MA — A person died in a single-car crash in Braintree Friday morning, according to police. Police said, around 2:15 a.m., they found a car on its roof on West Street near the Randolph town line. Officers found the driver outside the car on the side of the road. Police said extensive life-saving measures were performed, but the driver did not survive, dying on scene Police identified the crash victim as Licinio Monteiro, 27, of Randolph. Braintree police are investigating the cause of the crash. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
