Charges For Driver In Braintree Crash That Sent 3 To Hospital

A Thursday evening crash caused major traffic delays on Granite Street, and sent three people to the hospital, police said.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Granite Street crash caused serious traffic issues and sent multiple people to the hospital, Braintree police said.

Now, police said the driver of one of the vehicles will be charged with multiple violations including operating under the influence of alchol.

At 6:42 p.m. on Thursday, police posted to Facebook that units were working a "significant crash" at 485 Granite St. Officials said there were "multiple transports" and that traffic was "impacted significantly."

They said on Friday that two cars were involved in the crash, which happened at 6:10 p.m. All three occupants involved in the crash were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
