Braintree Institutes Parking Ban Ahead Of Winter Storm
Three off-street parking locations are available to the public during the ban, which runs through 9 p.m. on Sunday.
News release from Town of Braintree.
BRAINTREE, MA — In advance of the predicted snowstorm tonight and after consultation with our DPW Director, Public Safety Officials and review of local forecasts, Mayor Joyce is implementing a parking ban effective 9 p.m. tonight, Saturday, January 6, 2024 through 9 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, January 7, 2024. While the anticipated storm totals are not expected to be high, the unpredictability of this storm and the chance for snow removal to impact public safety is the reason for the ban.
Under the parking ban, Police have been authorized to tow any vehicle deemed to be an obstruction to snow removal operations.
