Braintree Man Accused Of Stealing Legos From Plainville Target

BRAINTREE, MA - A Braintree man was arraigned on Monday after he was accused of stealing hundreds of dollars of Legos from a Plainville Target, according to police.

A news report said that Sabbyjory Jean-Baptiste, 18, of Braintree, was scheduled to be arraigned in Wrentham District Court on a charge of shoplifting, according to Plainville police.

Officers responding to a Saturday night report of a shoplifting in progress at the Taunton Street Target learned that Jean-Baptiste had been stopped by asset protection workers in the store's outer lobby. He was pushing a cart full of Legos and other unpaid merchandise.

The man was seen at a Dunkin across the street, where police took him into custody.

While the investigation is ongoing, an initial report confirmed that the Legos and other items had been stolen.
