Braintree Officials Ask Residents To Stay Home Amid Flooding
The town is currently under a flash flood warning that includes other neighboring communities.
BRAINTREE, MA — Town officials are asking residents to stay off the roads in Braintree as the town experiences flooding Thursday morning.
In an alert to the community, officials said "several areas of town are experiencing flooding."
Department of Public Works and police officials are currently on-site in those sections of towns, officials said.

"We kindly ask that you stay off the roads if possible until the flash flooding subsides," they added.
According to police, at least one of those areas is Granite Street by Wood Road, which is currently closed due to flooding.

Braintree along with communities including Quincy and Milton are in a flash flood warning until 11:15 a.m., the National Weather Service said.
