Braintree Opens Cooling Station, Splash Pad For Scorching Heat
The Watson Park splash pad will open at noon on Tuesday with a cooling station opening at Town Hall, officials said.

MAYOR JOYCE ANNOUNCE COOLING STATION AND SPLASH PAD OPENING
BRAINTREE, MA — It’s the last day of school for BPS today and while the First Day of Summer is not until Friday – our first heat wave is expected this week.
With the impending heat advisories in our region – the Town will be operating a cooling station at Town Hall Today through Friday from 10am until 4pm and Mayor Joyce is pleased to announce that we will be turning on the Watson Park SPLASH PAD today at noon for our kiddos to enjoy.

We also want to remind you that many of our public buildings, like the Library and our Senior Center on Cleveland Avenue are open with air conditioning, water and likely some friendly familiar faces.
