Braintree Red Line Service Changes Upcoming In September
Shuttle buses will replace the train service on multiple days in September. Here's when.

BRAINTREE, MA — It seems like Braintree MBTA passengers have been shuffling between shuttle buses and train service every couple of weeks over the past year, and it's about to happen again.
The MBTA announced Red Line service disruptions for multiple days in September and also this week, starting today through Thursday.
Shuttle buses will replace Red Line service between Braintree and North Quincy starting today through Thursday for rail and tie replacement work. The adjustment will happen on each day at 8:45 p.m. through the end of service.

This adjustment will happen again from Sept. 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21 during the same time of day.
From Sept. 8-10, shuttle buses will again replace Red Line service, this time between Braintree and Quincy Center starting at 8:45 p.m. on Friday.
