The Braintree Women's Club concluded their club year with the Annual Meeting and Banquet held at La Scala restaurant on Thursday, May 1. Members enjoyed a delicious dinner and celebrating an active and rewarding year. The highlight of the evening was awarding the Women Helping Women $1,000 Scholarship to Karen Lane who is attending St. John Seminary in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Ministry. Karen is currently Director of Religious Education for Braintree Catholic Collaborative serving St. Francis and St. Clare parishes. She is a dedicated educator who also serves the parish communities visiting the sick, serving as a bereavement minister, organizing community initiatives, and partnering with other community groups. Congratulations Karen and best wishes in your future endeavors!
