Braintree's Little League World Series Team To Make Appearance At Upcoming Sports Card Expo

QUINCY, MA — The Northeast Sports Card Expo, one of the largest sports card and memorabilia shows in the northeastern United States, returns for another weekend of collecting, trading and meeting sports legends later this month.

The two-day event will take place at the Boston Marriott Quincy, 1000 Marriott Dr., on Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A special appearance from Braintree's Little League World Series team is scheduled on Saturday, giving the up-and-coming team their time in the spotlight from 10 a.m. to noon.

Celebrity autograph guests include U.S. Paralympians Kip St. Germaine and Joe Howard, hockey pioneer Graeme Townshend, sports broadcaster Sophia Jurksztowicz, NHL Network and NESN analyst Billy Jaffe, former New England Patriots safety Tim Fox, wrestlers Anthony “The Alternative” Greene and Chase Stevens, Pokémon voice actor Barrett Leddy, actor Mark Bousquet from the classic hockey film SLAP SHOT, and former Boston Bruin Bruce Shoebottom.
