BRAINTREE, MA — The Superintendent search in Braintree is over and a familiar face will fill the role.Tim MacDonald has been the principal of Hollis Elementary in Braintree since July 2004. He was chosen as the next superintendent at a Jan. 16 School Committee meeting. "During his time as principal, Mr. MacDonald has sat in on various school related items including the Vision of a Graduate Committee, Strategic Plan development Committee, School Building Committee, BEA Negotiations Committee and the Sanborn Redistricting Committee," town officials said in a recent newsletter. MacDonald served as an elementary teacher in Braintree and North Carolina before his current role.
