Braintree Women's Club is honored to receive recognition for supporting our veterans. The club has had a continuous involvement in giving back to vets whether those from past conflicts or those currently deployed. There have been countless programs over the years that our members have taken part in from sending care packs, holiday cards, visiting hospitals and collecting and distributing gift cards to soldiers and their families to show them in some small way that their community appreciates what they do for us all. We hope to continue this year by getting involved in the Shariff's House to House Hero Project and knitting lap blankets to be delivered to VA Hospitals. We are grateful to all who serve.
