As a result of the predicted snowstorm for tomorrow, Friday February 25th Mayor Kokoros has declared a snow emergency.

A snow emergency will be in effect starting tonight at 11pm, and lasting until 11pm on Friday. During this time period there will be no on-street parking allowed on any public road. The Police have been authorized to tow any vehicle deemed to be an obstruction to snow removal.

- Smith Beach Parking Lot
- Sunset Lake
- Braintree Golf Course
Trash and Recycling will be picked up tomorrow, and the Transfer Station will be open from 7am-3pm Friday, February 25th.
The Elder Affairs building will be closed on Friday. All other Town Buildings will remain open, including the Thayer Public Library.
