Black Creek Group, the owner of the shopping center at 238-300 Grove St., has requested a special permit from the planning board for Crunch Fitness, which is planning on opening in the former home of the clothing store, <a href="http://www.patriotledger.com/news/20180919/fitness-center-eyes-braintree-location" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Patriot Ledger.</a> Officials told the board that the gym would take up 22,000 square feet of the 72,000-square-foot space. TJ Maxx, along with HomeGoods, left the shopping center for a new location on Pearl Street. Crunch Fitness has more than 250 locations in North America and Australia.
