The Gardner School Celebrates World Wish Day In Braintree
World Wish Day is celebrated on April 29. The Gardner School celebrates through a project in partnership with Make-A-Wish.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Gardner School recently celebrated World Wish Day by turning classrooms into spaces of hope at nearly 40 locations across the country, including locally.
Students created “Wish Stars,” drawing or writing positive messages for themselves and others to transform hallways and windows into “Wish Walls,” or create a “Wish Walk” path outside.
“Through this activity, our students are learning about empathy, kindness, and the power of giving, which are core values of The Gardner School,” said Chief Executive Officer of TGS, Dean Pappous. “The experience encourages emotional and academic growth, providing students with an age-appropriate way to think beyond themselves while supporting an incredible cause.”

World Wish Day, celebrated annually on April 29, commemorates the first wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish and honors the hope, strength, and transformation that wishes bring to children with critical illnesses and their families.
