BRAINTREE, MA — Police officials are investigating after they received a gunshot detection alert on Monday evening.The alert came from the area of Commercial Court and McCusker Drive around 6:15 p.m. Police responded to the area at that time, officials said.Officials didn't encounter anyone upon their arrival, but officers did locate multiple shell casings in a basketball court near the wood line behind 2 McCusker Dr., officials said. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage and, other than the gunshot alert, there were no reports or calls for shots fired to the police department.
