BRAINTREE, MA — The Monday storm that caused power outages and road closures across the state didn't miss Braintree.

The biggest headache for locals came at the busy Five Corners intersection, where the overhead traffic lights came down during the morning commute hours and weren't raised back up until around 8 p.m.

Five Corners is the intersection where Franklin, Granite and West Streets connect, serving as a major thoroughfare for drivers locally.
