Obituary: Former Braintree Deputy Fire Chief Parker Nadeau

Parker Nadeau served on the Braintree Fire Department for 36 years. He died on June 14.

BRAINTREE, MA — Former Braintree Deputy Fire Chief Parker Nadeau has died. Nadeau, who served on the department for over three decades, died on June 14.

"The Braintree Firefighters regret to announce the passing of retired Deputy Chief Parker Nadeau," the firefighters union said. "Deputy Nadeau retired in 1994 with 36 years of service to the Town of Braintree."

According to an online obituary, Nadeau was born in Dorchester but settled in Braintree after serving with the United States Air Force for four years during the Korean War.

The obituary stated that Nadeau had many hobbies and passions, but none more than spending time with family.
