Student Smashes Train Window At Braintree Station: Transit Police
A 24-year-old will be summoned to Quincy District Court after he "lost it" due to a missed train, MBTA Transit Police said.

BRAINTREE, MA — A college student is looking at a District Court summons after he kicked and smashed an MBTA train window, MBTA Transit Police said.
The 24-year-old missed a 4 p.m. train at the Braintree Station, and told officials that he "lost it", causing him to kick and smash the Red Line train car window.
In a statement to the Boston Globe, Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said it was "an egregious way to handle the situation."

He will be summoned to Quincy District Court for malicious destruction of MBTA property, Transit Police said.
