Student Smashes Train Window At Braintree Station: Transit Police

BRAINTREE, MA — A college student is looking at a District Court summons after he kicked and smashed an MBTA train window, MBTA Transit Police said.

The 24-year-old missed a 4 p.m. train at the Braintree Station, and told officials that he "lost it", causing him to kick and smash the Red Line train car window.

In a statement to the Boston Globe, Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said it was "an egregious way to handle the situation."
