Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Students come out of her class different than they came in. Quite often Emily has preschoolers with challenging behaviors that often have a hard time learning, sitting, attending, socializing and simply not able to tolerate the school day. By the end of the school year they are able to learn and be a successful student ready for kindergarten. Her kindness, patience, wealth of knowledge and flexibility help guide these children to be independent, social (with friends!!) and successful students in kindergarten which is important as this starts their careers as a “student”. All the staff and families she works for love her and she is always going above and beyond to help others or stay late and arrive earlier to prep for the next day.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
How great she works with the students. All types of students!!
