Woman Killed In Braintree Motor Scooter Crash
A crash between a Toyota Camry and a Suzuki motor scooter left Akashia Sade Cyprian, 27, of Dorchester, dead.
BRAINTREE, MA — A passenger on a motor scooter died in a crash in Braintree Thursday evening, according to police.
The crash happened around 6:25 p.m., in the 200th block of Forbes Road. Police received a call from someone driving a Toyota Camry, who told officers he collided with a "motorcycle."
Police said they discovered a large Suzuki motor scooter laying in the road, and officers also found the operator of the scooter on the side of the road with serious leg injuries. The scooter's passenger, later identified as Akashia Sade Cyprian, 27, of Dorchester, was ruled dead at the scene.

Police said the sedan driver was out of the car and distraught. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. Police said the identities of the drivers are being withheld until the investigation is complete.
Police are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash. There are no pending charges as of Friday afternoon.
