Brookline 2020 Primary Election Results: Voters Choose Warren
Unlike the rest of the commonwealth, Democratic Brookline candidate Elizabeth Warren got more votes than any other on Super Tuesday.
BROOKLINE, MA — Unlike the rest of the commonwealth, more Democratic Brookline voters backed Elizabeth Warren on Super Tuesday than any other candidate, according to early results.
Democratic Brookline voters voted for Elizabeth Warren (6,523) followed by former Vice President Joe Biden (5,691) and then Bernie Sanders (3,606). Michael Bloomberg was fourth with 2,092 votes, according to early unofficial results.

Many in Brookline's Precinct 15 told Patch they came out to cast ballots in an effort to get someone new into office.
Several Brookline residents said meant they'd cast their vote for Biden.
For some the decision was easy.
Margot Davis, 67, said she came out to exercise her right to vote, and felt better about choosing Biden now that the field had been narrowed in the past week.
"He seems to be the one with the strongest experience," she said, echoing what others before her told Patch.
For others it was a last minute change.
"I think it's an important time for us to vote and have input in the political process," said Tim Rupert, 55. Although he might have voted for someone else two weeks ago, Biden, he said, "is a viable candidate. I was happy with his recent performance in South Carolina — and some of the other moderate candidates pulled out."
And still others said the choice was a bit fraught.
"It's not an easy decision," said Dave, who preferred not to give his last name. "I'm concerned that no one has a good chance against Trump." He said he liked Elizabeth Warren, but her upset in South Carolina had him worried.
At least one resident said he was there to vote for Republican State Committee members who would be against Gov. Charlie Baker's 17 cent TCI tax.
