The Community Health Equity Survey is offered state-wide, but local feedback will help shape public health decisions in Brookline.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is encouraging residents to participate in a state-wide health survey that will help local officials shape the future of health programs.
The Community Health Equity Survey is available online and is offered by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
According to officials, the survey will be open through the early fall and is available to all residents 14 years of age and older. Officials said the survey, which is available in 11 languages, will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

While the results of the survey will be used for a state-wide analysis of health needs, Brookline health officials said the information gathered from local residents also will help in the development of the Brookline Community Health Assessment (CHA) and Community Health Improvement Plan (CHP).
Officials said they will be able to gather valuable local data that will be used to plan programs and initiatives and to track change over time.
