Brookline Expected To Get 8-12 Inches Of Snow Friday
Brookline offices, libraries, the Brookline Senior Center and all recreation programs will be closed.
BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline offices, libraries, the Brookline Senior Center and all recreation programs will be closed on Friday, Feb. 25, when the area is expected to get 8 to 12 inches of snow.
In addition, trash and recycling are currently on a holiday week schedule and will now be delayed an additional day. Collections scheduled for Friday will now take place on Saturday and those scheduled for Saturday will take place Sunday. Recycling collection on Sunday has been cancelled, it will be trash only.
All Brookline Libraries will also be closed on Friday due to the storm.

The town has not yet declared a snow parking ban, but could still do so before the storm begins. During a parking ban, there is no on street parking and vehicles must be removed from all roadways or they are subject to tow.
