BROOKLINE— The Brookline Little League 10-and-Under team broke records when they won their 17-2 season on Aug. 12 in a final game against New Jersey. The 9-4 win made them the first Brookline Little League team to win the East Regional Championship, the highest championship the young team can get to.The team is led by Coach Stephen McCarthy, the former pitcher for the Cedar Rapids Reds.
