Brookline PAX Endorses Mara Dolan, Chris Dempsey, & Tommy Vitolo
The Massachusetts Democratic primaries will be held on Tuesday, September 6.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline PAX has endorsed three candidates - Mara Dolan, Chris Dempsey, and Rep. Tommy Vitolo - in this year’s Sept. 6 contested Democratic primaries.
Formed in 1962, Brookline PAX is a local political organization that advocates for excellent public education, excellent public services, respect for public employees and organized labor, respect for the environment, and diversity, social justice, and peace. PAX requires a 60 percent vote of board members to endorse.
On Monday, the organization formally endorsed Dolan for Governor’s Council District 3, Chris Dempsey for State Auditor, and Vitolo for re-election as State Representative.

"All are not only proven, passionate progressives in their values, but, far more importantly, are proven -by actual records and accomplishments, not mere rhetoric - to be outstanding progressive leaders,” Brookline Pax said in a statement.
In the Democratic primaries, Dolan is challenging incumbent Marilyn Petito Devaney, Dempsey is running against state Sen. Diana DiZoglio, and Vitolo is being challenged by former Brookline Select Board Vice Chair Raul Fernandez.
