Brookline Police Give Girl Royal Treatment After Surgery

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline police officers turned up to give a young girl from Missouri some royal treatment after undergoing a surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital Friday.

Although Annika has been to Boston several times before for treatment, last weekend was the first time Brookline police officers met her. She came to visit the police department with questions about K9 policing. She told officers she wants to be a police officer when she is older.

On Friday, they gave her a police escort after her surgery from Boston Children's Hospital to her Homewood Suites by Hilton on Rt. 9 and surprised her with cupcakes, balloons and a visit from the K-9.
