Brookline Police Seek Help Identifying Backpack Theft Suspects

Police said the backpack full of electronics was stolen at Washington Street and Pond Avenue on Sept. 29.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline police are seeking the public's help in identifying potential suspects in the theft of a backpack containing electronics on Sept. 29.

Police said the backpack was stolen in the vicinity of Washington Street and Pond Avenue.

One man is described as a white man in his mid-to-late 40s or early 50s who was wearing black shorts, a blue/gray sweatshirt, black baseball cap, black glasses and brown work boots.

The second man was described as a white man in his mid-to-late 40s wearing black pants, a black jacket, a tan baseball cap and brown work boots.

Anyone who recognizes either of the men is asked to contact Brookline police at 617-730-2711.
