Brookline Snowstorm: 4 To 8 Inches Of Snow Expected Friday
Brookline is projected to get 4 to 8 inches of snow beginning early Friday morning.
BROOKLINE, MA — The Town of Brookline will delay trash and recycling pickup Friday in preparation for what is expected to be the first major snowstorm of 2022.
The National Weather Service forecasts 4 to 8 inches of snowfall in Brookline from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
Both trash and recycling and special pickups will not be collected Friday. All scheduled routes will be picked up on Saturday.

Residents are asked to put trash and recycling carts out after 3 p.m. Friday or after the storm.
The town has not yet declared a snow parking ban, but could still do so before the storm begins. During a parking ban, there is no on street parking and vehicles must be removed from all roadways or they are subject to tow.
