  • Now that you’ve got your car free of the snow and ice once more, do yourself a favor and take that shovel down to the nearest fire hydrant and clear that out as well. Brookline’s fire chief says snow around a fire hydrant can cost when fire fighters are responding to a blaze.
  • Storm-related cancellations mean you get two artists for the price of one tonight at the Brookline Art Center, which is hosting a for Marc Mancuso, a sculptor behind the “Balancing Devotion and Obsession” exhibit, and Eric Myrvaagnes, a photographer whose work is on display in a collection called “Tar Gazing.”
